Loudon Times-Mirror - Joseph Guzman WINS second term!
Joseph Guzman faced the stiffest challenge in the Sugarland Run District but
took enough votes to win over his two challengers combined. Guzman tallied
2,385 votes. Steve Hammond totaled 1,040 votes, and Ryan Myers 1,147.

Guzman returns for a second term on the School Board as a strong supporter of
new academic initiatives and of the federal No Child Left Behind act.

Loudon Times-Mirror
"Joe Guzman, School Board member from Sugarland Run, has been leading the efforts to fund more
Loudoun based programs, specifically a complementary program to the Academy of Science at
Dominion that will focus on Arts, Letters, and Government. Mr. Guzman has been a thought leader on
the current board and he deserves to get the support necessary to be able to see these ideas through
to completion."
